Metal works

A metal work is a composition of connected to each other metal sections, usually made of steel or aluminium, which are performing certain functions. For the manufacture of metal works may be used carbon steel, other alloyed steels or aluminium alloys. The assembly of steel profiles is performed by welding or bolting and the aluminium ones can be assembled by fitting of the parts.


Aluminium works

Aluminium profiles used for manufacturing of aluminium works are characterized by their durability, high corrosion resistance and low weight. They can be either specialized system- profiles or standard thick aluminium profiles with a square or rectangular cross-section and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm. They should be cut out by use of specialized saw blades and can be assembled by welding, bolt or screw way of fitting. The already fabricated aluminium structure can be painted by electrostatic powder coating in rich colors or wood decorative effects. Because of its resistance to bad weather condition it does not require any maintenance or painting. The aluminium works are preferred for supporting construction of glass, polycarbonate, or composite panels by terraces, verandas or roofs.

The aluminium profiles used in system aluminium works can be bonded by specialized joints and adhesives, thus avoiding the need for welding and the fitting point remains in the correct natural form without the presence of additional residues. This solution is suitable for the visible supporting structure of awnings, pergolas and conservatories, as well as for the glazing of facades of buildings.

In order to achieve high durability features by thick-walled aluminium profiles, the assembly can be performed by TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. Aluminium welding assembled metal works are preferred for advertising panels, awnings and bars.

Stainless steel works

Stainless steel works are produced from stainless steel profiles of circular, square or rectangular cross-section and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm. After cutting of stainless profiles under a certain angle they are being welded by TIG welding for maximum durability and reliability of the supporting structure. Stainless steel is characterized by its high corrosion resistance and does not require any maintenance or painting. To achieve optimal effect the already welded work can be additionally treated, like satin effect or polishing. The products of stainless steel are suitable solution for supporting works of tables and basic stands for machines in the food industry, supporting construction of sheds and roofs as well as decorative structural elements of buildings and facilities.

At places where welding of stainless profiles cannot be done, a bolt connection is being used. Typically, these are detachable works that require moving the elements from one place to another one.

A classic method of assembly for stainless steel works is the TIG welding. Since the additive material used in this welding has the same chemical composition as the stainless steel profiles, the weld seam does not have to be polished, which preserves its durability features. The construction thus obtained is extremely robust, corrosion resistant and does not require any subsequent maintenance.

Works of unalloyed steel

The works made of unalloyed steel are produced from steel profiles with a circular, square or rectangular cross-section and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm. After cutting of stainless profiles under a certain angle they are being welded by MIG/MAG welding for maximum durability and reliability of the construction itself. The already cut steel profiles are being welded according to the selected design configuration, then sanded, cleaned, degreased and subjected to electrostatic powder coating. For greater corrosion resistance effect and durability of the steel components it is recommend before painting the configuration to let it undergo a hot galvanizing. Due to their strength and low prices unalloyed and constructional steel are widely used in construction of buildings and facilities, as well as in the production of awnings, roofs, sheds and supporting works and elements.

The most common and popular method of assembling of steel profiles is by arc welding or MIG / MAG welding. The resulting products are durable, reliable and can be subjected to heavy loads – good resistance on bearing pressure.


  1. Design and dimensioning of metal works

    Design and dimensioning

    For larger metal works and such ones requiring more responsible decisions, a constructive design project is being prepared in advance, in order to set out the type of profiles, their dimensions, the way of assembly and the subsequent additional finishing, if needed. For smaller metal works, the exact dimensions and angles measuring of the product are being taken by a qualified technician, and a conceptual design is being prepared - it includes all the design matters and parameters of the construction, its grip, the type of material and the color combination chosen by the customer.

  2. Manufacturing of metal works

    Manufacturing

    The designer submits a working blueprint to our workshop for manufacturing of the metal construction’s elements. There follows optimization and cutting of the chosen material as specified in the working blueprint and its subsequent assembly, either by welding, or by bolt or screw connection. Putting priming and painting of the smaller metal works is being done by electrostatic application of powder polymeric anticorrosive and decorative coatings and following firing in thermoregulated furnaces.

  3. Delivery of metal works

    Delivery

    The delivery of the manufactured product and the materials needed for installation to the site is being done by specialized transport vehicles for such purposes. To avoid scratches and injuries the elements of the construction are being packed with transport foil.

  4. Installation of metal works

    Installation

    After all materials have been delivered to the site, the product is being assembled. Our experienced installers have the most advanced professional equipment to achieve the required accuracy and ease of installation works. We work exclusively with high quality materials and do not compromise with the quality of the fixing, sealing, waterproofing adhesives and sealing compounds we use. After completion of the installation, the site is being cleaned from waste materials, filings and packaging foil. In order to prevent unwanted damage on the walls and floors of the object caused by welding, the connection of the elements is being done by means of a bolt or a screw connection.
